Terry Crews is a famous American Actor and former NFL player. He has hosted the ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire’ show and starred in the BET reality series’ The Family Crews’. He has also starred in the award winning comedy ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’. He has appeared in many movies too.
In his childhood Crews was awarded with multiple scholarships. He got a chance to go to Interlochen Center for the Arts in Interlochen, Michigan and later, a full athletic scholarship for football at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He won the 1988 Mid-American Conference Championship for his team and was drafted by the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams in the 11th round in 1991. His football career lasted for 6 years over which he played strategically with the L.A. Rams, San Diego Chargers , Rheine Fire (NFL Europe-Germany), Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles.
Crews also co-wrote and co-produced the independent feature film, ‘Young Boys Incorporated’ (1996). Eventually Crews retired from the NFL in 1997 as he intended to pursue his acting seriously which had been his passion since the start. His first break came in 1999, when he auditioned for the extreme sports show called Battle Dome (1999). He even got to play T-Money for two seasons. Gradually he picked up his career with commercials, music videos, and films. His major breakthrough was ‘Friday After Next’ starring Ice Cube. Some of his other top films include Serving Sara (2002), Deliver Us from Eva (2003), Malibu’s Most Wanted (2003), Starsky & Hutch (2004), Soul Plane (2004), White Chicks (2004), and the Mike Judge film, Idiocrasy (2006) andThe Expendables (2010).
Crews has also released his own biography in 2014 and is a wonderful artist who has his own design company called the’ Amen&Amen’. He has been married to Rebecca King since 1990. They have five children, four girls and a boy. He even has one grandchild. Crews has a rough net worth of $20 Million.
