Justin Pierre James is a Canadian politician serving as the 23rd and current Prime Minister of Canada since 2015 and Leader of the Liberal Party since 2013. He was made the next Prime Minister of Canada after leading his party in the October 19, 2015, federal election to a majority government victory.

Justin Trudeau was born on December 25, 1971, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. He is the eldest son of former Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau. His mother’s name is Margaret Sinclair. He is the second child in Canadian history to be born while one of his parents was the prime minister of the state.

Trudeau’s parents separated in 1977. After their divorce, he moved to Montreal. Trudeau has a  Bachelor of Arts degree in literature from McGill University and a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of British Columbia. He taught at West Point Grey Academy and Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School in Vancouver, British Columbia as a social studies and French teacher. In the year of his graduation his youngest brother Michel died in an avalanche. Trudeau started to promote avalanche safety. Later in 2000, he gave the eulogy for his father in a nationally televised service for the late prime minister. Many people were impressed by him but he refused to join politics at that time. In 2006 he chaired the Liberal Party’s task force on youth renewal. He also appeared as the soldier “Talbot Papineau” in the historical TV movie “The Great War” (2007). He was also seen as a skilled boxer in 2012In 2013 he began to lead the Liberal Party. In two years’ time he got the high office in Canada and in 2015 he led his party to victory by winning the majority seats in the parliament. Trudeau kept his words that he had given in his election speeches. In November 2015, he made headlines when he appointed half of his cabinet positions to women as he had promised a gender-balanced cabinet. He had been against the 2016 election when Donald Trump was elected the president. He was against Trump’s policies against the Muslims. Both Trudeau and French President Emmanuel Macron slammed Trump’s actions, prompting the U.S. president to announce he was leaving the June G-7 summit early.

As for his personal life he married a former model and television host Sophie Gregoire in 2013. He has three kids named Xavier, Hadrien and Ella. He is a good leader with an inspiring personality.
